A project supported by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and “la Caixa” Foundation, focused on producing a documentary about an inclusive artistic process.
The work included documenting rehearsals, workshops, focus groups and performances that promoted the integration of Deaf and hearing people through theatre.
I was responsible for filming and editing the videos, including subtitling and visual design, with the aim of raising awareness about art as a tool for social inclusion.


Media Film Project

As part of the "Durchstarten" support programme in Berlin, the film project “Media Film” was created in collaboration with Sinneswandel, with the goal of empowering young Deaf people.
The project consisted of a practical film workshop covering camera work, visual composition and video editing, resulting in the production of short films exploring the participants identities.
Through the use of scene work, theatre and interviews as forms of expression, the project promoted empowerment and raised awareness of the lived realities of young Deaf people.

Beyond Signs
2020 - 2022
As a director in the BEYOND SIGNS project, I documented the development of a transnational collaboration between Italy, Croatia and Portugal, aimed at promoting equal access for the Deaf community.
I accompanied the Portuguese team from Lisbon to Zagreb and Milan, filming the theatre training process and the social integration activities.
I was responsible for the shooting, editing and release of both the documentary and the making-of, always working with a sensitive, inclusive and accessibility-focused approach to portray the project’s development authentically.

A commercial paying tribute to the legendary Café Santiago and its iconic Francesinha, an unmistakable symbol of Portuguese gastronomy in the heart of Porto.
With a sensitive and carefully crafted visual approach, the ad creates a warm, authentic atmosphere where locals and visitors gather around this traditional dish, a dish that represents not only the city of Porto but also the soul of Café Santiago.
More than just a meal, the Francesinha is portrayed as a symbol of community, tradition and identity. The commercial captures moments of togetherness, intense flavors and the dedication of a place that has been serving with passion and authenticity for decades.

Responsible for filming, editing and publishing informational videos specifically targeted at the young Deaf community.
Ensured visual consistency, coherent storytelling and accessible content to make sure the information was delivered clearly, engagingly and inclusively.

During my internship at TVU, I was the only Deaf team member, responsible for filming, camera work and video editing for the online platform.
In close collaboration with a journalist, I produced reports and filmed interviews at locations such as museums, art galleries and the Rectorate of the University of Porto.
This experience reinforced my belief that visual communication can overcome barriers and open new perspectives in the audiovisual field.

During my internship at Gebärdenwelt.tv, I had the opportunity to film in various contexts, from universities and festivals to museums.
I produced reports that included interviews with Deaf individuals.
In addition to camera work, I handled video editing and post-production, always aiming to make the Deaf community visible and empowered.

More than just filming, I aimed to nurture their artistic side and create videos that celebrate Deaf identity and the unique power of visual communication.
